Our range of natural slate tiles comes from the Papagayas quarry in Minas Gerais in Brazil. These slate tiles have a unique grey-green colour and a relatively smooth riven surface, also known as ‘Natural Cleft’. This is a process that involves splitting the slate to give a natural riven finish.
Available in a range of complementary sizes and two thicknesses (12mm and 15mm), these slate tiles are suitable for domestic and commercial use. The slate is calibrated to ensure an even thickness (+ or – 2mm) which aids quick and accurate laying.
Applications for these slate tiles are wide ranging, including conservatory floors, hallways, kitchen floors etc.
All our slate tile products are ethically sourced, with these particular tiles originating from Brazil. All our slate tiles come with a range of UK wide delivery options (subject to postcode coverage), meaning there should be an option to fit your timing requirements.
Samples of these slate tiles are available upon request.
